| POST VISIT |
 |
 |
Once your examination has been completed, our radiologist views all the films
taken. It may be necessary on occasion to consult with other specialists or
radiologists in order to reach a diagnosis which may take a little longer.
Once the films have been reported the report will be sent to your doctor, and
the films will be sent either to you or to your doctor. The radiologist may
also phone your doctor to discuss the findings.
If you have a mammogram with Mercy Radiology, your films will be retained at
the site you had your examination so they are readily available for your next
visit, and a copy of the report will be sent to your doctor.
If you have any questions about your examination, please ask your doctor or
phone us direct. Our staff will be pleased to help you.
