Dr Alan List, M.B. Ch.B. (Otago), FRANZCR, is a Consultant Radiologist at Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and at Mercy Radiology. Alan took up a Fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Centre in New Orleans in Uroradiology and Angiography which soon developed into Interventional Radiology. He gained a Faculty post at LSU and completed a further period there. He then took up a position in the Uroradiology section of the Radiology Department at Sahlgrens Hospital in Sweden. This was initially as a staff Radiologist, but he was made acting Chief of the Section during his last year there. He then returned to Auckland to a staff post, sub specialising in Uroradiology and Interventional Radiology. During his career in Auckland he has had a period as Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland, has been the Superviser of Training for the Regional Registrar training programme and was Senior Education Officer for New Zealand for the College of Radiologists. He became Clinical Director of Radiology for ten years at ADHB and now continues as a Consultant Radiologist at ADHB and Mercy Radiology.
