Devesh trained in radiology within the Auckland training scheme from 1999 to 2004, including a year of Body Imaging consisting of CT and MRI in his 5th year. After working as a Consultant Radiologist at Middlemore Hospital in early 2005, he moved to New York where he undertook Fellowships in Oncologic Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. These consisted of Body Imaging for 12 months (CT, MRI and ultrasound), Mammography and Breast MRI for 6 months, and Nuclear Medicine including PET-CT for 6 months. Upon his return to New Zealand, he took up the position of Consultant Radiologist at Middlemore Hospital from mid-2007 to present, and joined Mercy Radiology in August 2010. Devesh is the lead clincian for the CT department at Middlemore Hospital.
